Who is UrbanCore Construction?

UrbanCore Construction is a full service construction firm in Richmond, VA that specializes in multifamily, tenant upfit, and specialty projects, dedicated to creating thriving communities through comprehensive construction services.

The Marketing Manager reached out to me after finding my content on Instagram (proof that showing up on social media can and does bring in ideal clients when you keep at it!), saying that they needed updated Headshots, and some Branding Photography to improve their marketing and online presence. They had about 30 employees who needed a new Headshot, and they wanted to shoot on location in their office building.

After a quick phone consult – which I always recommend before booking – to talk logistics, planning, vision, timeline, packages, etc. (schedule yours here!), we deicide that my Half Day, 50 photo package would be perfect for everyone to get a new headshot, and a handful of branding images of the team at work.

They also emphasized their goal to bring authenticity into the photos, show fun, personable team, not your average “construction company vibe”. And branding images that are candid and interactive to use in marketing materials.

My most important goal as a Branding Photographer is to help you create photos and visual content that works specifically and custom to you, your team and your brand. No two sessions should look alike, and it’s important that I listen to your unique goals and vision so you get photos that make sense to promote your business in the best way possible. It’s all about connecting with your ideal audience, and being your authentic selves. Doing so with professional, high quality marketing assets. And once I saw their absolutely gorgeous, modern space, the final pieces naturally fell into place.
