NBC12 Snow Day Promos

If you didn’t already know, aside from being a photographer, I work full-time at NBC12 aka the best station in Virginia! Where I am Sr. Promotions Producer, Graphic Designer, Photographer, Social Media Producer, among other things. I wear many colorful hats! 🙂

Every once in a while I get to work on something different and super fun. This is a perfect example! We held a facebook casting call, asking fans of the NBC12 facebook page to message us a photo of their family to be featured in some commercials. It worked out great! These are not actors, although some of them really could be! Just normal viewers and wonderful, cooperative people.

This first one is our take on an old idea. We went to these families homes and coached their children on being super excited in finding out they were getting a snow day!! We had so much fun with it and I appreciate the opportunity to work with these great kids!

For this next one, we focused on just one family and our app alerts – with the cutest little boy, omg! – not an actor either, but aren’t you impressed with him?! He took direction so well and was just a sweetie!
