Sweet Sophia!

This little one kept me on the move! We wanted to take her out to a field in the bright sunshine and just “let her be a kid” running and playing in the grass so I could get some good portraits of her and that beautiful blonde hair in the sunlight! She was super happy to run free! Although I had to chase her down more than once – I sure got a workout that morning – she was also thrilled to have her photos taken. And kids these days are keen on how digital photography works, so after every shot I got a, “can I see it!?” I had to convince her to wait and she would get to see them all once we got back in the car. And she was so excited when I scrolled through the images on the back of the camera. Such a cutie!

And this is the greatest idea! Thanks again Pinterest! 🙂 We put her in mommy’s wedding dress so that she can one day display it at her own wedding. How great is that?!SophiaChildrenPortraitRichmond (1e)

I’m happy to have captured some moments of pure innocence and sweetness as well as the big smiles. And look at that glowing hair!SophiaChildrenPortraitRichmond (1f) SophiaChildrenPortraitRichmond (1g) SophiaChildrenPortraitRichmond (1h)

This is one of my favorite moments. She got tired and just fell into the grass. So I laid down with her and told her to smile at me. And yes, we were all covered in dirt and grass by the end, lol.SophiaChildrenPortraitRichmond (1i) SophiaChildrenPortraitRichmond (1j) SophiaChildrenPortraitRichmond (1k) SophiaChildrenPortraitRichmond (1l)

This is a perfect example of her silly, wiggliness, love it! 🙂SophiaChildrenPortraitRichmond (1m)
