#1: IT’S OUTDATED
If your current profile photo is more than 2 years old… its definitely time for an update!
When potential clients, customers, hiring managers or co-workers find you online, you want to be sure that your featured photo actually looks like you.
That 5 year old headshot from your former job doesn’t cut it!

#2: IT DOESN’T ALIGN WITH YOUR BRAND
Does it represent you AND your brand?
Make sure you communicate the image you want to convey with everyone that sees it.
Even if you are “just an employee”, you still want to present yourself in a professional manner that represents the type of professional that you are.
Personality in photos matters SO much more than you may realize.

#3: IT NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
Does it appear professional? A DIY selfie with bad lighting is a MUST GO.
Also if it’s blurry, low resolution, too dark, cropped strangely, too casual, too old, too close up or too far away.

A great way to celebrate is with a photo upgrade!
Especially if you are being promoted to management, or a higher role in your company.
You will need to use your image more often, and it needs to look great.
