When it’s your baby’s first 4th of July, you have to take some sort of fun photos! I picked up some inexpensive props at Target (love those dollar bins!) and we had a quick little backyard family fun photo shoot.

He wasn’t really having the sunglasses. He didn’t understand why we were putting something on his face. But he sure did like playing with them for an hour afterwards!

He did very much enjoy waving the little flags though!

There’s not really much you can do with a baby on this holiday. Fireworks were out of course, and for once no one was having a cookout, so we just stayed home, grilled a bit and hung out with our little guy. Nice and easy!

I can’t get enough of that adorable little face!

Another example of how with a little bit of planning, a tripod and a timer, you can do a quick little family photo shoot in 15 minutes or less!
