For the past few years, I have created a shop local list, and it’s always a huge hit.
I’m at it again with a brand new RVA Gift Guide for 2022!
RVA is filled with amazing small businesses perfect for gifting! I’d love to support all of them, but for now here is a list of just a few of these great Virginia finds. Chosen by me for no reason other than I love what they have to offer! Many of these small businesses create beautiful, handmade, unique items that anyone would love to receive as a gift.

Studio Two Three
An RVA Community Art Space with a strong mission and vision for a better future for all. Shop amazing finds to support local artists. This is where I buy 90% of the art on my walls.

Cross Creek Nursery
One of my favorite places in RVA. To shop, browse and say hello to the goats. Also a great place to purchase your Christmas trees and wreaths!
Hill and River Company
Hand poured candles with inspiration from the Hill City to the River City. Husband and wife team hard at work! Not only are they wonderful people, but they create some truly amazing scents to fill your home.

One of my go-to local shops! I love Clara’s detailed Illustrations. From prints, to cards, to shirts, to stickers, she has a bit of it all! Discover the wonders of nature with outdoors inspired paper goods and gifts.
Dayum Jam
Queer and trans owned, small-batch crafter of all natural jams, pickles, and salsas named after hit songs. Check them out, read their story, they are doing wonderful things for the community.

Not exactly small business – but local, and one of our fav places in the city! We get a family membership each year. And right now they are 15% off!
