Good afternoon everyone! Thanks for taking time to check out my work. Today, I have a Family Photo Session with the sweetest people! Mom just got a job out of state, so they wanted to commemorate their time in Richmond, while also getting some photos for their little one’s first birthday. The King family told me what they love about RVA is the mix or urban and nature. So I plotted out a perfect path for us where we started shooting on a sidewalk in the Fan, then moved on to Byrd Park and Fountain Lake! Also, some of my favorite things Richmond has to offer and where I spent many wonderful years while attending VCU Art School and living in tiny but awesome fan apartments 😉
Such a sweetie! Look at those baby blues.
Richmond has tons of gorgeous murals around the city. This one is in the fan, right across from Star-Light Diner.
Back to the murals, this fun one is on the side of Star-Light Diner. If you’re interested, learn more about the Richmond Murals Project Here!
And to end on a few shots I took for me 🙂
There were just birds everywhere today! After the family drove off I decided I needed to capture some of them in action.
And this below – it’s some sort of pine cone from these really pretty trees off of the parking lot. It’s like a perfect rose, never seen that before, and I love it! We tried to get the little one to pose with it, but she just wanted to crush it! 🙂 So it got it’s own little photo soot at the end! Isn’t it pretty?
Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
I hope you enjoyed the photos. I’d be honored to shoot with you! To book a session or just to say hi, send me an email, I’d love to chat!
